Alpha Solway are delighted to announce the exclusive launch of two brand new respiratory ranges at this year’s Safety & Health Expo 2008, with the introduction of their ALPHAMESH and OMEGA mask ranges. The first of these, ALPHAMESH includes the ALPHAMESH A-SERIES, a fold flat respiratory range and ALPHAMESH 8000 it’s moulded equivalent. The ALPHAMESH A-SERIES mask is the first vertical fold style disposable respirator to feature a mesh shell, preformed nose bridge and be metal free*, allowing the wearer exceptional performance even in extreme conditions. The A-SERIES design is both practical and easy to fit, whilst the additional benefit of colour coding ensures that identifying the correct mask has never been easier. The ALPHAMESH 8000 range of masks has been specifically developed to improve the comfort of disposable respirators whilst maintaining an excellent fit. Colour coding of the 8000 range also allows for easy identification when various levels of protection are required or for certain manufacturing applications, such as the food industry. OMEGA meanwhile sees the launch of Alpha Solway’s very own lightweight cartridge respirator series and includes the OMEGA 140 and OMEGA 405. The Omega range will allow the wearer not only choice but thanks to the latest materials now available, improved comfort. Being silicon free, the OMEGA range can also be used in a vast variety of applications whilst its colour coded face piece offers easy identification for the wearer. Meeting the requirements of EN405, the Omega 405 range can be used for up to 28 days without any record keeping, therefore offering an effective alternative to the standard cartridge respirators.
