Alpha Solway introduces Qualitative Face Fit Test Kit
Alpha Solway are delighted to announce the launch of their new Qualitative Fact Fit Test Kit, which they believe to be the most comprehensive kit on the market for the testing of respiratory protective equipment in accordance with the HSE Guidelines.
Training in the proper use and care of respirators has been a requirement in COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) regulations since 1989. The 2002 revision of the COSHH regulations and the Approved Code of Practice (ACoP) now require that fit testing of respiratory protective equipment (RPE) be carried out.
In answer to these regulations, Alpha Solway have introduced the Qualitative Face Fit Test Kit in order that the wearers of particulate half masks or disposable respirators can be fit tested correctly and economically.
In addition, Alpha Solway staff are able to offer comprehensive ‘Train the Trainer’ courses complete with competence questionnaire in order to ensure companies are able to carry out the fit testing of wearers with complete confidence.
